Does update management center needs internet connectivity on Azure VM?

Hello Team,
I hope you're doing fine,
I just wanted to know, i have a VM that have internet connecity allowed on it outbound nsg.
I want to know if i deny internet connectivity, the VM cannot download the new updates from ms servers anymore right?
In this case, i should allow the windows ms servers on the nsg ? how can i list them all ? is there any clever way to do this like a service tag on the nsg ? or it is mandatory to open access to internet?

That's what i found also, internet connectivity is mandatory for the patch management
