Hello All,

I need to take a look at my azure costs but I have some points:

  • ·When I try to access Cost Management > Invoices, I get the message: Invoices are only available for billing accounts, billing profiles, and pay-as-you-go subscriptions. Please change to a supported scope. I already have the role Global Administrator assigned to my user, supposed to have this permission, no? Which specific role need to assign to grant permission to see the invoices?
  • Under subscription, I can see that I have an Enterprise Agreement and an Offer ID, but when I go to Cost Management > Advisor Recommendations, there is a high impact recommendations described as Buy virtual machine reserved instances to save money over pay-as-you-go costs. How can azure recommends an actions for pay-as-you-go if I have an Enterprise Agreement? I really dont know how this works.
  • Under Cost Management > Cost analysis, I can see the costs of each month, is this the cost that I have in my invoice (unable to see it) or its like a pay-as-you-go costs if I had this method.

ps: I have no access to my EA.

Sorry for stupid questions but Im starting handling with azure costs.

Thanks in advance

    Hello Alex,

For enterprise agreement, please check with enterprise admin if the AO and DA view charges are enabled for the enrollment. If not please check with EA admin to follow the steps shared in the below document and have them enabled.

How to enable billing details for EA: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/costs/assign-access-acm-data#enable-access-to-costs-in-the-ea-portal

With regards to RBAC who can view cost details are Enterprise admin, department admin, account owner ( based on the level of scope), contributor, cost management reader, cost management contributor roles.

However, AO and DA view charges should be enabled by EA Admin.

    Hope this helps .

    Kind regards

    Divya.

No, It's not possible to have pay as you go subscription under EA. Please navigate to cost management+ billing blade and check navigate to billing scope pane from left. It will show you all roles and billing account type under your account. It might help you get some clarity.
