How to release host name reservation of App Services, Storage Account and Key Vault after deleting them

I tried to recreate app service, storage account in another tenant but keep getting error about the names have been already taken.

After some research, I found out that there is a host name reservation for a period of time after you delete app service and storage account.

Can someone help me release this reservation so that I can recreate them in another tenant?

Here's a solution, To release the host name reservation of App Services, Storage Account, and Key Vault after deleting them, follow these steps:

Access the Azure portal and navigate to the respective service section.

Locate the deleted resource (App Service, Storage Account, or Key Vault) and select it.

Look for the "Deleted" or "Deleted Resources" section and click on it.

Inside the "Deleted" section, you should see an option to release the host name reservation.

Click on the release or delete option to free up the host name reservation.

You ensure that the resources can be used by other services or re-provisioned without any conflicts.

Thank you for answering. But I could not find any option to release the host names like you describe in your solution.

We were successfully able to delete the Storage account in the backend and able to recreate the same name storage account "styumiplatformdev" in the new tenant.
