Hi Team, I am planning to implement Index maintenance job on 5 Azure SQL Db's Options: Using Rubook Elastic Jobs feature. My question is ,which option is best for cost ($$$) point of view?

@Vijay Kumar Yes you are correct, it does require job database. As mentioned by my colleague in this Q&A question ,for azure elastic jobs, pricing is a little different as it has elastic job agent as well as a job database. Elastic job agent is free but job database is build based on size and usage like normal database.(Refer link for more details). Kindly let us know if you have further queries.

@Vijay Kumar Thanks for your comment. Elastic jobs feature is part of Azure SQL Database service which is currently in public preview and there is no additional charge for using the public preview version.

But atleast it requires S0 tier server. which cost.
