You can try deleting the com.microsoft.Word.plist file from the ~/Library/Preferences folder. This will reset Word to its default settings. To do this, follow these steps:
- Quit Word.
- Open Finder and click on the "Go" menu.
- Press and hold the Option key to reveal the Library folder, and then click on it.
- Navigate to the Preferences folder.
- Find the com.microsoft.Word.plist file and delete it.
- Restart Word.
