WVD smartcard redirection is not working

Has anyone been able to get smartcard redirection to work with WVD? I just want to use them to access DoD websites, not login.

All the other RDP properties on the host pool work as expected (printer, clipboard, drives), but not smart cards.

When connecting to the WVD through the client, the card reader blinks like it wants to do something, but doesn't show up when accessing the websites.

    @Al Fontaine

    Firstly, apologies for the delay in responding here and any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

    There was a Windows client update released today that has a fix for smart card redirection, can you please check and see if that helps.

    Here are the release details of windows desktop client.

    Also, make sure that the SmartCard Driver is present on the host machine. Not the reader driver but the smart card driver itself. This will result in no SC being found after attempting redirection.

    The new version fixed. That was pretty good timing.

    Thanks for your help.
