Confirm User Compromised

Question

I am just learning the Identity Protection piece in Microsoft Azure and have a question. When we get an alert for a Risky User Detail, there is an option when I can click "Confirm User Compromised". What does this button do? Will this force a password reset or is this just a notification? Thank you.
