Hi,
after an upgrade from FIM2010 to MIM 2016SP2 (4.6.641.0) I realized that there is a strange issue about sets membership.
There is a simple set filtered by an integer value ( isdisabled=0).
Problem is about membership recalculation when a user change isdisabled value from 1 (exclude from set) to 0 (include in set).
Set is not update till next day (after fim temporal job which also process all set fire at 01:00AM).
This issue is not present for all others set using string attribute as filter even if they are more complex.
This behavior is dangerous because there is an high risk of skip policy because target set is not correctly update.
Following some online post i also rebuild fragmented index but this was useless.
Have you some other ideas (avoid changing filter) ?

Strange error, but, you can schedule the Set Correction job to run every 30 min instead of once per day. That's a workaround though.

Yes, now is scheduled to run every hour with main scheduled task.
Set correction is very quick and least 40 sec so this workaround for the moment is accepted.
Anyway it will be helpfull if MS can try to investigate on it and if the case, resolve it.

Did you open the Set form in advanced mode?
Can you check is the box "Temporal" is checked?

If the new set don't have the issue, do the replacement in all concerned MPR.

Holger 0 Reputation points2024-03-18T11:41:23.61+00:00 We do have the same issue with a couple criteria-based groups with an integer attribute. They are being changed by Set Correction during FIM_TemporalEventsJob running on the database and "Set Correction For Group..." appears in Search Requests. The Groups are not temporal (never have been) and the problem is reproducable with new groups as well. Our updates on the attribute are triggered by workflows. Our MIM 2016 Environment (4.6.607.0) has not been upgraded from previous MIM major versions. First installed with 4.6.34.0.
