Hyper V 2022 Cluster CSV's running in Redirected mode.
I ran updates over the weekend and now I see that the CSV's are running in redirected mode. I removed one of the CSV volumes from cluster storage (no VM's on it right now) and it went back to the standard online. I used the FLTMC tool command to remove everything it would let me and still nothing. Hitting a little wall of what to try next as well as a little better explanation of what this means. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2024-01-31T09:37:47.95+00:00 Had the problem with the wimmount filter driver. With
"sc stop wimmount"
redirection vanished. -

2024-02-05T07:57:05.7+00:00 In my case the redirected mode vanished. I didn't do any performance benchmarks.

2024-02-06T01:25:59.6433333+00:00 That is not working for me..... @Radekk Did this work for you? When I look at the info on the failure it says that the CSV is in maintenance mode, but it is not.

2024-02-13T22:55:31.65+00:00 Does running the "sc stop wimmount" persist across reboots, or is that something I'll need to do each time it reboots?

2024-03-11T16:51:24.86+00:00 One more question... I ran a sc config WIMMount start=disabled, but I didn't look to see what the original setting is currently set to. Could someone run a 'sc qc WIMMount' command to see what the original START_TYPE is set to?
Thank you.

2024-03-11T16:53:29.91+00:00 Nevermind... ran it on another server that's also 2022 and it shows it's DEMAND_START type (so if you needed to revert you can run 'sc config WIMMount start=demand').

2024-03-12T14:11:55.4033333+00:00 The real issue is why we still have to do this, MS should have this fixed.
