After upgrading my SQL Server OS from 2016 to 2019, my failover clustering feature is not working, the cluster service has stopped and is disabled, even after trying to bring it back up, it is giving the error " Couldn't find file specified". the worst part is i have tried to uninstall and reinstall but i still have the same error, i also noticed that the cluster key on HKLM is no longer there even when you try to uninstall and reinstall. I have tried running the cluster cleanup command, sfc scan now command, clear-cluster node command but it is not removing the cluster. i don't know if there is any lingering folder i need to clear up I really need help.

I'll suggest you to repair the installation Regards Javier
Hi klean, Thanks for your post. Please A failover cluster is a group of independent computers that work together to increase the availability of applications and services. The clustered servers (called nodes) are connected by physical cables and by software. If one of the cluster nodes fails, another node begins to provide service (a process known as failover). Users experience a minimum of disruptions in service. This guide describes the steps for upgrading the cluster nodes to Windows Server 2019 or Windows Server 2016 from an earlier version using the same hardware.
