As part of my migration project requirements, I am looking to share data from my source system which is in Azure MI SQL Server and to the target system which is also in Azure MI SQL Server.

I need to share the source data which is in Azure MI SQL Server in one Azure Subscription (Subscriptio A) to Azure MI SQL Server in another Azure Subscription (Subscription B).

I understand from Azure Data Share documentation that, it supports Azure SQL Database as a source.

Can Azure Data Share supports Azure MI SQL server as data provider and consumer?

If it supports, can you please share the relevant docs for the pre-requisite and what are the steps to be followed for this?

@Balan Murugan - Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

Azure Data Share does support Azure SQL Managed Instance as a data provider and consumer.

According to the official documentation: Supported data stores in Azure Data Share, the following table explains the data stores that Azure Data Share supports.
