How to manually delete the cache when using the “New Outlook"

I don't know how to manually delete the cache when using the “New Outlook”.

Please let us know if the procedure is on the official documentation.

Is the method the same as the current Outlook?

I am having trouble adding email addresses to a group in Outlook. All the documents say to delete the cache. I have tried to do that but I do not have a folder "RoamCache"

So now what?

Seems to be in the same place for windows:

%localappdata%\Microsoft\Outlook

you can either delete the roamcache folder only, or the entire content, everything regenerates after you restart outlook. For example if you change the cache mode timeframe then you might want to regenerate the pst and ost files. if youre afraid instead of deleting you can move it into a backup folder

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

The following is a method to manually clear Outlook cache in Windows 11/10:

First, find the location of the cache. If you ask us, it's easy. Before continuing, please save everything you have done and then press the Windows key+R to launch the dialog box.

Copy and paste% localappdata% \ Microsoft \ Outlook into the field, and then press Enter on the keyboard.

Finally, navigate to the folder named RoamCache to view all files. Select all files in the folder, then right-click and click the "Delete" option to manually clear the cache.

You can also delete the auto complete cache in Outlook, open Outlook, click "File", and then click "Options". From there, navigate to the "Mail" section and you should see "Send Message". Under this option, click to clear the auto complete list to delete all content at once. Finally, click the "OK" button at the bottom to complete the task 100%.

Unfortunately, I didn't find any official documentation on how to clean up the New Outlook cache.

For the Cache you mentioned, do you mean the data file of the account configured in Outlook desktop client? If so, the "New" Outlook app data is stored on your Windows drive in the user's AppData folder.

Hello,

I am creating and selling an Outlook JavaScript add-in. I have a question about the method for clearing the cache that is published on the following page:

After deploying a new program for the Office add-in to Azure Cloud, some HTML files did not update, causing malfunctions. As a result, we're looking for a way to clear the Office add-in cache.

On the following page, it's written that to manually clear the cache, you need to delete the following folder:

Deleting this folder ensured that the latest program was loaded in the traditional Outlook, resolving the issue. However, when testing it in the "new Outlook," the issue was not resolved.

Since no data is being added to the wef folder when running the add-in in the "new Outlook," we suspect that there might be other folders retaining the cache.

Could you please provide instructions on how to clear the Office add-in cache in the "new Outlook"?
