Hello Darrin Burns ,
Thanks for reaching out in the Microsoft Q&A!
Azure VPN pricing doesn't offer a flat monthly fee. Instead, charges are based on the type of gateway provisioned and the time it's available. This includes per-hour billing, where costs are incurred based on how long a VPN gateway is running, and the varying costs depending on the gateway type, such as Basic or VpnGw1, with more powerful gateways costing more. Although recreating the VPN each time might seem inconvenient, you can manage costs by leaving the VPN gateway provisioned but disconnected, which avoids the need for frequent recreations and incurs charges only when a connection is active. To better understand pricing and cost management for Azure VPN Gateway, you can refer to Microsoft's documentation on Azure VPN Gateway, the Azure VPN Gateway FAQ, and Azure cost management.
