I am trying to sign up my company for the Microsoft AI Cloud Partner program but I am unable to do so because I am getting a message that I need to use my work email.
What is the correct way for me to upgrade my existing account to a work email? I am not interested in using Microsoft products other than Azure, and am interested only in applying for the partner program.
I created an Azure account about 1 year ago, and I believe the free plan has expired. I tried adding a payment method but all payment methods (3 different Visa and Mastercard cards) are being declined stating that incorrect information has been provided (although I triple checked the info). I have tried using virtual cards and regular cards. Is this even needed to upgrade to become a work account?
What are the necessary steps for me to upgrade my account to become a work email account so I am able to apply to the program? I don't want to create a new account since this email address is my business email address. Thank you!

For your scenario, I suggest that you might need to Create a request in Partner Center.
Please select Account Settings and Account verification> E-mail ownership in the page.
