To extract data from a password-protected PDF to Excel using the "Get Data" tool:

    Open Excel

    Launch Microsoft Excel.

    Navigate to the "Data" Tab

Click the "Data" tab in the Excel ribbon.

    Select "Get Data"

In the "Get & Transform Data" group, click on "Get Data."

    Choose "From File"

Then "From File," click on the dropdown item.

    Click on "From PDF"

Calibrate the PDF by selecting "From PDF".

Proceed to Search for the PDF File:

A file browser window will open. Browse to your passwordprotected pdf file, select it, and click on

Acrobat will ask for the Password:

If the PDF has a password, a dialog box opens that is asking you for the password. Type in the password and click 'OK'

    Select the Tables to Import:

After opening the PDF, Excel will show you a view of the tables it identified. Tick the boxes next to the tables or data you wish to import.

    Load or Transform Data:

You will now have the following two options: one is by clicking "Load" to directly input it into Excel or "Transform Data," which will bring the data into the Power Query editor so further changes can be made.

    Final Import:

Based on the requirement of load or transform of the selected data, the data is now going to be loaded in your Excel worksheet.
