I am needing to get some verification for my job on whether classic asp is still being supported by Microsoft. Also, is their a way to find the end of life date for classic asp? I will need to provide some form of proof online. I am asking because when I have tried to search for the answer using online search tools I get something different every time.

currently active server pages support is tied to IIS and it is currently supported (IIS support is tied to the hosting O/S). it was optional back in 2003 (IIS 6.0). Server 2025 still supports asp as an optional feature. No end of life has been suggested.

vbscript, a common script language for active server pages was announced as deprecated for windows 11 in October 2023. Server 2025 is formally deprecating vbscript. No formal end of life has been announced, only that one is coming, but will be after Windows 11/Server 2025.

oddly, there is no formal announcements for jscript, the other common active server pages language (which is the one I used back in the day).

note: to me, the more important question is the support of the active/x objects used by your asp code.
