I had created a couple of subscriptions with some resources in them a few months back and I did not make any payments for a few months and as a result the subscriptions got deleted because of the past due unpaid invoices. I tried to pay on the portal but i got a message saying "You can’t pay this invoice in the portal. Please contact Azure Support for assistance". The problem is that i have a basic support plan and i cannot raise a support ticket to contact Azure Support. i tried to upgrade my support plan but it said it is per subscription which means i cannot do that either because the current subscriptions are deleted and i cannot create a new one because of the unpaid invoices. Question 1: how can i pay?

Question 2: How can i upgrade my Azure support Plan

Hello @Theo Tsatsos Thank yoy for reaching out to us through Microsoft Q&A platform and sorry for the inconvenience this must have caused you!

I understand that you are unable to pay the due and the subscription is disabled. You mentioned that you have a basic support plan due to which you are unable to raise a support ticket. FYI: Azure Billing and Subscription Management support is included in the Basic Support Plan without any charge.

May be the subscription is disabled because of that you are unable to create a support ticket. Here is the link - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/how-to-create-azure-support-request to create support case.

you are unable to create a support request, I suggest you try the following options:

Twitter : Connect with @AzureSupport on Twitter for answers, support, and to connect with Azure experts. best place to raise a request

Few Customers are using the Microsoft REST api Support Tickets - REST API (Azure Support) | Microsoft Learn to create Support request.

    OR

You can call global customer service - https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2 to raise a support request on your behalf to help you connect with Azure billing and subscription management support.

    To answer your questions:

Question 1: how can i pay?
You need to reach out to Azure billing and subscription management support team to re-enable the subscription and then you can try the payment of the due amount.

Question 2: How can i upgrade my Azure support Plan
Once the subscription is re-enabled you can cancel the current plan and purchase an upgrade one through Azure portal.
