I'm using windows server 2016 to deploy VDI and i created few collections using different templets, Due to Hyper-V host space issue we have add new standalone Hyper-V host to RDS collection.

I would like to move existing collections to new Hyper-V host, including Templates and VMS. All the collections VM are set to Roll back Virtual desktops ENABLE.

noticed when i checked the Get-RDVirtualDesktopCollectionConfiguration all the collections

VirtualDesktopTemplateExportPath is set with old Hyper-V Host. my concern is if I change the VirtualDesktopTemplateExportPath to new Hyper-V host is it impacting to existing running collection?

is there way i can move VirtualDesktopTemplateExportPath to individual collection? once all the VM's and migrate to new Hyper-V host old Host will be decommission.

Can anyone help please. Thanks.

    Hello,

Since your existing machine was created from a template, I believe it should not impact them.

The best practice is to place your template in a shared folder to increase flexibility.
