I'm getting the following error when trying to create an app service domain: The subscription is not eligible to create an App Service Domain. My subscription is pay as you go and has a valid credit card. It does have $200 in credits and I'm wondering if that is the issue. Can someone help with this? Thanks

It's not a free trial or credit based subscription. It's pay as you go. And azure won't let me create a support ticket for this issue. The error message says nothing about insufficient history.
Have you also checked the other prerequisites?
Those did not work for me as I was attempting to buy a domain without having the app services setup yet, which you should be able to do and the error message did not mention anything about requiring app services.
It's such a pain I just went directly to godaddy and will bring it over to azure when the time comes if needed. Thanks

Free subscriptions do not have permission to buy App Service domains in Azure.
If you initially registered for a free trial subscription and then upgraded to pay-as-you-go, you must wait until the free trial ends and all free credits are fully utilized. During this 30-day free trial period, domain creation is not possible.
