Hello,

we have a weird issue which seems to affect the whole orgainzation, tenant.

If an user does "inline-comment" inside the original text on an email while answering it, a wrong users name is shown, auto-completed.

It is about the yellow marked portion.

User's image

The weird thing is, it applies to everybody in our Exchange tenant and this user indeed was the IT administrator a few years ago, but thenleft the company. That's why I feel like he did some global configuration back then, which now affects us all.

This screenshot is from the Outlook app on Windows.

any idea where this [xxx] thing comes from anyway?

kind regards,

Dieter

The Preface should no longer appear if you untick the following box:Bild

However, I don't know why it automatically uses a different username in the first place.
