Failed redundancy using windows disk management software raid (mirroring)

We have a 2016 hyper-v server that's running software mirroring using windows disk management. Two of our logical volumes are showing as healthy, 3 are showing Failed Redundancy, including the boot partition (c:), but no drives are reporting as missing. They're all showing as Online, status: "working properly".

I inherited this system and am unfamiliar with the correct steps for restoring redundancy. I'm running chkdsk now. Are there guides for recovering / restoring redundancy in both the event of drive failure or if chkdsk returns no errors?

    Hi Josh,

    Hope you're doing well.

Certainly. If you haven't already, run the 'chkdsk' utility with the '/f' (fix errors on the disk) and '/r' (locates bad sectors and recovers readable information) options.

To prevent data loss, consider implementing redundancy solutions like RAID, which can mirror your data across multiple drives.

In addition, consider seeking help from 3rd-party also a good choice.

    Best Regards,
