Hi @Adam Pinney
Welcome to our forum!
How do Microsoft imagine that we will access important E-mails (e.g. hotel bookings) now that Outlook, which has replaced Window Mail, only gives access to E-mails if one has internet access?
If you successfully signed in before you went offline, your email has been saved locally and you can view your previous messages even when you're not on the internet. No network connection is available to receive/send emails.
Also, why does Outlook annoyingly change "Read" messages to "Unread" when they are moved from the Inbox to Trash?
To change how a message is marked as read, select File > Options > Advanced. Under Outlook Pane, select Reading Pane. Uncheck the mark items as read when you select changes. Click OK twice to return to Outlook.
For more details, you can refer to: Mark a message as read or unread.
Final question to a Microsoft executive: aren't you rich enough already? Do I really need to put up with adverts in which I have no interest whatsoever unless I pay to not receive them? In short, is there a decent E-mail programme (not an app) which I can download to avoid the problems above and which doesn't require me to learn a whole new programme?
