I'm using Microsoft Cognitive Services Voise to Text in my Asp.Net application.

How can I pass base64string from my c# controller to SpeechRecognizer?

ASP.NET Core applications run on a web server. How exactly are you recording voice from an ASP.NET Core application?

According to the documentation an audio file is passed to the Azure Services. Can you provide some insight the base64 string? Is it an audio file?

Hi @Sviatlana , we could see from the official document that we could create an app to recognize speech from a microphone/file/in-memory stream. May I understand that you have a base64 string to represent one of the voice formats? And there's the c# sample codes which might be helpful to you.

I'm recording a Microphone record from my frontend with javascript and converting to wav format and passing to my backend as base64string. Base64string is a audio wav file.

Hi Sviatlana, then we could follow this section. We have base64string now instead of a wav file.

var reader = new BinaryReader(File.OpenRead("PathToFile.wav")); We could see var reader = new BinaryReader(File.OpenRead("PathToFile.wav")); the tutorial is trying to convert the file to stream. So that I'm afraid we could try var stream = new MemoryStream(Convert.FromBase64String(base64));

replace File.OpenRead("PathToFile.wav") then we can use the sample code. Could you please help try it?
