Can we add CSS to SharePoint Group Site Template

Hi ,
We have a SharePoint Online site with Template GROUP#0 i.e. Office 365 Group associated Team Site.
I wanted to add Custom CSS to a Calendar list. I am unable to see Content Editor Webpart or Script Editor webparts.
I have enabled Publishing features as well.
Do you know is there a way to add custom css on top of calendar.

Hi @Krishna Sandeep Sangani ,

You need to allow custom script on your sharepoint site to add Content Editor Webpart or Script Editor webparts. Please refer to this article for more: allow-or-prevent-custom-script

You can allow custom script on a particular site immediately with the below powershell command:

Connect-SPOService https://tenant-admin.sharepoint.com Set-SPOsite https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/yoursite -DenyAddAndCustomizePages 0

Thanks for your response.
Organization don't want to enable custom scripting.
So I have tried adding page viewer webpart and give link to css file. But still it is unable to reflect css changes.
Do you have any other option to add CSS. I just wanted to do simple CSS changes.
Is there any back door approach?

You have to enable custom scripting to add custom css.

As a workaround, you could enable custom script your site first to add Content Editor Webpart or Script Editor webparts. After adding the css, just disable custom script on your site.

Set-SPOsite https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/yoursite -DenyAddAndCustomizePages 1

The existing Content Editor Webpart or Script Editor webparts would still work.

I don't have Tenant admin permission to enable custom scripts. Admin team is not ready to do enable scripting's.
I have only Site Collection Admin permissions. Can I do anything else to add CSS?

It isn't supported anyways. You'll need to develop a custom SharePoint Framework solution (likely Application Extension), but again manipulating the DOM isn't supported.

Manipulating the DOM, thus CSS customizations, are not supported with Modern sites. You would need to otherwise use an SPFx solution but as Microsoft may make changes to the DOM at any time, you shouldn't expect any CSS changes to function indefinitely.

Another workaround is to change the Alternate CSS URL in Master Page. This needs to enable publishing feature.

Upload your css file to a library.

2. Go to site settings-> Master page, expand the Alternate CSS URL option. Add the reference to your css file.

Test Result:

If we change the Alternate CSS, it might impact whole site collection.
As I am looking for a specific page. So Ideal solution will be enabling custom scripts.
