terminal provisioning state 'Failed'

I watched a video from Rob Kerr AI on Azure ML Deploy Inference Point (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE3PWXB260U&t=601s). I am new to deploying ML models on Azure as an endpoint. I tried to implement the same steps and process he followed in the video, but I caught the following error every time.

I am on a pay-as-you-go subscription just for reference.

The resource write operation failed to complete successfully, because it reached terminal provisioning state 'Failed'. (Code: ResourceDeploymentFailure, Target: /subscriptions/9cfea832-5851-43f9-803b-b3058caf27b3/resourceGroups/DIABETES/providers/Microsoft.MachineLearningServices/workspaces/demo_code_diabetes/onlineEndpoints/diabetesm)

I tried a bunch of stuff but couldn't figure out what was going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It seems the problem is NOT a MDT or MCM related problem, hope the experts who are familiar with Azure ML Deploy Inference Point may help.

@akshay bhat For the endpoint that failed, you can see additional logs for the endpoint on the endpoints tab for this deployment. This should give additional details of error code to check what is wrong in deploying this endpoint. If the deployment timed out, you could retry again and check. If it failed due to some other reason than the model creation or registration did not complete as expected and this could throw an error while deploying the same. Thanks!!

@romungi-MSFT I have gone through the error logs and it says that "Resource provider [N/A] isn't registered with Subscription [N/A]. I have checked with the different resource providers as well, everything was fine with the resource group.

Then I tried using Python SDK and containers to deploy the model as an endpoint, it worked fine. The second method I used probably gave me more control over the deployment configuration. But still, unsure about the UI interface from the Azure portal.

@akshay bhat For the error:

"Resource provider [N/A] isn't registered with Subscription [N/A]."

It has been a known issue recently with some subscriptions. In this case, you will have to follow these steps and try the deployment from portal again.

Delete the failed deployment.

Make sure to register the the resource provider 'Microsoft.PolicyInsights'" in subscription pane from Azure portal.

Recreate the endpoint.
