Basically, you will need to adapt the steps from this documentation to move the ACR in a different subscription.
- To create a new exact replica registry please use the steps here.
- To import the container images from the original registry please follow the steps mentioned here.
Please keep in mind that the name of the registries cannot be the same.
Expect a total of a few hours for the entire process, but this may vary significantly based on the number and size of images. During the transfer process, you will have some downtime while you are pulling and pushing images. Applications that rely on the ACR will not be able to access images during the push phase unless they are also running against the new ACR.
