I am using the Python 'win32com' library. What is the minimum version of the 'ExportAsFixedFormat' method for converting Excel to PDF?

I literally created a .exe application to export Excel files to PDF using Python with the win32com library (version 308). I know that this library depends on and uses the 'ExportAsFixedFormat' method of Excel.

Currently, Windows 10 and Microsoft 365 are installed on my PC, and my programs work well. However, I'm wondering if my work would run without trouble on other PCs.

What are the minimum versions of Windows and Excel in which the 'ExportAsFixedFormat' method is available or first appeared? I've tried to find information in the technical documentation, but I was unable to get an answer.

    Hi @Sanghun Kim

The earliest version I can find that can apply ExportAsFixedFormat method is Office 2007.

    Reference:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/visualstudio/visual-studio-2008/bb386827(v=vs.90)

For the minimum version of Windows, in my opinion, it is also related to the Office version. As long as Excel 2007 or later can be installed and used, the Windows system version should not affect the availability of this feature.
