Based on the error message, this interrupt will trigger when you have created a conditional access policy with requiring an authentication strengths.

That is why you are seeing this MFA registration screen. What is happening when you click on Next to register for MFA?

I see that you are the only global administrator in the tenant, since you are the only Global Admin in the tenant, this qualifies as a tenant lockout scenario if you are unable to move on to next page due to authentication strength policy. To resolve this, we need to engage the Data Protection team via a support ticket to unblock your access.

To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps:

Enable Two-Factor Authentication: If you haven't already, enable two-step verification for your account. You can do this by navigating to your Microsoft account settings and enabling additional security options.

Check Conditional Access Policies: If you're using Azure AD, review your conditional access policies. Exclude impacted users from policies enforcing MFA if necessary

Switch Authentication Methods: Some users have resolved this issue by switching between authentication methods, such as using a system web browser or Windows Authentication Broker.

If these steps don't work, you may need to contact your tenant security administrator or Microsoft support for further assistance. Let me know if you'd like help with any of these steps!
