Surface Bluetooth Pairing Gets Stuck

Anonymous
2024-04-08T14:18:29+00:00

I try to connect my Surface Bluetooth Keyboard to my Surface Laptop Pro running Windows 11, it gets stuck on the 'enter PIN' screen, I enter the PIN on the Bluetooth Keyboard as listed on the screen, and press enter, but it gets stuck and eventually times out. When I try to connect the keyboard again, it says 'Please try again later'.

This is the screen it gets stuck on:

This keyboard has successfully connected in the past, and all other bluetooth devices, the Surface Pen and Mouse, are working. I have tried restarting, both the computer and the keyboard, and I have uninstalled the Surface Keyboard from the Device Manager. Please advise.

    Hi, TaylorRockhill

    You could try :

Control Panel--->Hardware and Sound ----->View Devices and Printers ------>Add Device -------->Select the Bluetooth device you want to connect ------>Next Step

    Hi,

It has not, it has changed slightly, Now instead of getting hung up on the PIN, after the PIN is entered it immediately goes to 'Please try to connect the device again'.

The problem started occuring after my computer updated to build 26100.1 ge_release.
