dns over https on microsoft edge does not work

i saw several people asking about this question too, and seems like it hasn't been fixed yet.

everytime i choose a specific provider, it always reverts back to using current service provider.

    Good day solanadwjt! I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. I understand that you are having an issue with regards to MS Edge specifically the dns over function/feature. Apologies on this and I would suggest to If you is that if you felt that this is with regards to the recent update, you can also send a feedback to the team that is working on Edge and hopefully a fix will be applied soon on the next update and you can provide a feedback from the browser itself by clicking on the 3 dots > Help and feedback > Send feedback. Alternatively, you can head over to the link below and try to download the installer file (select the channel and check the build that this dns over https is previously working) and check if you will be able to install it to see if it will work afterwards.
