Desk top computer is an HP with Windows 11 operating system. I use Edge to go to my email which is gmail. Not even the tech from Microsoft could help. I cannot get into any info until I can get Microsoft to send the verification code to either the correct email or correct cell number. When I enter my Microsoft account profile, they have all the correct info but want to send the verification code to an old unused email and to a phone number that’s a land line.

whatever I’m doing, like replying to you, I’m doing on my iPad and not on the desk top computer because I can’t get past the initial screen without a verification code. I spoke with a Microsoft tech and yesterday they sent me a code but never told me they were doing so and never to.d me what it was for. When I entered the code, was told it was the “incorrect” code.

Hahn. Thank you forgetting back to me. The problem is that I can’t get into anything. I can’t get past the initial screen. I managed to delete the incorrect email address but now Microsoft wants to send a verification code to my land line phone number, not my cell number. I managed to attempt to change the security information but now they want me to wait 30 days for the change to take place.
