location setting

Question

I've tried to change my location on my MSN homepage but I'm not having much luck. It changes temporarily but then goes back to the old location. How do I get it to change permanently?

Navigate to MSN.com

Click the Edit button (pencil icon)

Type the correct location into the box 

Click Done

Next, click on the Location link (e.g. Louisville, Ky).

Click  the "Detect My Location" icon located right of the current temperature on the left.

Click the down arrow next to your Location

Do you see the incorrect location in the dropdown menu?

Click on the incorrect location link which opens a new page to that location's weather stats.

Click on the "Detect My Location" icon again. The correct location should appear.

Does the Correct Location appear in the box? If no, click the down arrow next to the location and select the correct location from the dropdown menu

Click "Detect My Location" icon again

Click MSN next to the black butterfly in upper left to return to MSN Home Page

If the above still does not work, go to Bing.com Settings

Verify the location is correct

Ensure you click Save when finished

Return to MSN.com and proceed with the "Detect My Location" steps. 

Once you've made the change > Click Favorite icon

Your current location should show a Home Page icon in the upper right corner

Click Pencil icon to Edit Favorites

You'll see an X in the upper right corner of each location appear.

Click the X to Delete the wrong location.

Edit: If you see a home icon on any of the locations that appear and some are close to your location, those are server locations. In the event MSN servers do not detect your location they will show the nearest location.

I'm not sure if you were able to set your homepage or not, what I saw in the other ways was well too long a process. this is what I to to set my home page, dont have any problems,if your trying to set MSN as you homepage, then type in www.msn.com   then go to the tools menu, then click on options click on the left that says home, then where the address you want to set as your home simple click use current, then close that then log off, then log back in and there ya go.. blessing to yall.

Navegue a MSN.com

Haga clic en el botón Editar (icono de lápiz)

Escriba la ubicación correcta en el cuadro

Haga clic en Listo

A continuación, haga clic en el enlace Ubicación (por ejemplo, Louisville, Ky).

Haga clic en el icono "Detectar mi ubicación" situado a la derecha de la temperatura actual a la izquierda.

Haz clic en la flecha hacia abajo junto a tu ubicación

¿Ve la ubicación incorrecta en el menú desplegable?

Haga clic en el enlace de ubicación incorrecta que abre una nueva página a las estadísticas meteorológicas de esa ubicación.

Vuelva a hacer clic en el icono "Detectar mi ubicación". Debería aparecer la ubicación correcta.

¿Aparece la ubicación correcta en el cuadro? Si no, haga clic en la flecha hacia abajo junto a la ubicación y seleccione la ubicación correcta en el menú desplegable

Haga clic de nuevo en el icono "Detectar mi ubicación"

Haga clic en MSN junto a la mariposa negra en la parte superior izquierda para volver a la página de inicio de MSN

Si lo anterior sigue sin funcionar, vaya a Configuración de Bing.com

Verifique que la ubicación sea correcta

Asegúrese de hacer clic en Guardar cuando haya terminado

Vuelva a MSN.com y continúe con los pasos de "Detectar mi ubicación".

Una vez que haya realizado el cambio > Haga clic en el icono Favorito

Su ubicación actual debe mostrar un icono de la página de inicio en la esquina superior derecha

Haga clic en el icono Lápiz para editar favoritos

Verás que aparece una X en la esquina superior derecha de cada ubicación.

Haga clic en la X para eliminar la ubicación incorrecta.

Editar: si ves un icono de inicio en cualquiera de las ubicaciones que aparecen y algunas están cerca de tu ubicación, son ubicaciones de servidor. En caso de que los servidores MSN no detecten su ubicación, mostrarán la ubicación más cercana.

Shalomaleijem necesito poner  mi Msn en el area cod 33014 y me sale otra localisacion y yo deceo  que mi Msn sea en Hialeah Fla 33014 como lo puedo lograr  que em salga en Hialeha Fla 33014 ? como lo resuelbo hoy por Fabor
