Cant find Expression folder in the Tabular Model Explorer (Screen shot attached)
Also unable to open power query editor to write custom query for table.

Are you changing your compatibility levels while creating the project in your visual studio ? Which VS version are you using ?

Thanks Saurabh, I think you are right. I was on an older version. Upgrading from 1200 to 1400 solved the problem.
@Abhay Sudhakaran Great to hear. Yes, expressions are available from 1400 models onwards in Azure Analysis Services. Thanks.
