6331 MIM 2016 event

Question

Does anyone have any idea about this? . The error I am seeing in dev where changes in the sync engine MV do not get replicated to the Portal. It has started again. I went to Sync engine and did a test, I created a new MV attribute and I saw the 6331 error in the eventviewer

A update on the configuration of a MA or MV failed to replicate to a target connector directory that is capable of storing MA/MV configurations. As a result, the MA/MV configuration data in this connector directory is not up to date. Please correct the condition that causes the error, and triggers a resync by updating the password information of the target MA.

So a reboot of the MIM Service/Sync/SQL servers resolved it.

Its a very tough error to track down and Msft should do better. Real waste of productive time.

I've seen this in one project, and it was when we had a lot of object types (which made the XML sent in ma-data to one attribute too long).
Do you have many object types for any Connector/MA?
