Thank you Carlo. I will hold on to the solution you offered but I'm not going to do that, YET. Now I'm paranoid about everything. Ugh.

    Good Day TerriKaye1,

My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

You can try to scan your computer using the Malwarebytes scanner to check if there are malware or rootkits running in your system.

    Here's the link to download.

    https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thank...

Once downloaded and installed open the app and check for infection.

Once the scan is done , you can try to uninstall the app using the Revo uninstaller, this will help you to delete all the remnants of the app.

    Here's the link to download.

    https://www.revouninstaller.com/download-profes...

-Once downloaded and installed, click Forced Uninstall

-Search or look for the name of the app in your Taskbar

-Click Next to Uninstall it completely.

    Restart once done and check.

I hope the information above helps. Please let me know how it goes.

Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.

    Sincerely,

    Carlo T.
