I've received a email from someone who claim he she has hacked my Microsoft account through Pegasus? And the MSG was in my junk but when I checked it was from me to me how is this possible?

    I was in chat with Microsoft and they gave me email where I can send this kind of spam but the problem is that I can't tell which is spamer's address and I also forgot the email the chat agent shared with me...

    I checked this wallet address it has 9 Litecoin lol I was like if you are that of a hacker why you haven't tried your hands at some exchange

    Thx for the reply I got in touch with Microsoft support and they adviced me to change and alias...

    Good. Not sure how useful the new alias will be, but the important thing is that you recognized it as a scam.

    This is a very common scam known as the bitcoin scam, sextortion scam, extortion scam and other names.

    Don't contact the scammer. Don't pay anything. They have not hacked your account.

    If the message is not in your Sent folder (it won't be) it was not sent from your account. Your account was not hacked. No spyware programs were installed. The scammer simply put your address in the Sender field.

    Delete the message and any similar messages you receive in the future.

Plus, they can do more to help protect your account.
