I keep getting an error message regarding keychain access to my microsoft apps now after updating to Mac OS Catalina. When I go onto keychain access my laptop freezes with the beachball circling, how can I resolve this?

From your description, it seems that Office applications on your Mac keep requesting keychain access after you update your MacOS to Catalina. For example, "Microsoft Word wants to use your confidential Information stored in "Microsoft Identity xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx" in your keychain.

If so, try out the methods in this article to Restore your keychain permissions for Office for Mac and see whether it can solve this problem.
