I am a business user working in a private organisation and have got Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021 suite of products . Today my IT Admn purchased one Copilot license for me with one year plan of USD 360. Now I can find Copilot icon appearing on left side pane of portal.office.com thru my user ID. I can also see Copilot in the Office apps thru the web browser. But I am struggling to get that icon placed in the ribbon bar of all office apps viz: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook. According to one of the help tips on Microsoft Support I also did forced refresh license so that Copilot is enabled in the apps. But it is not working. What am I missing here?

To summarize, you are seeing Co-Pilot on the web versions of Microsoft365.

It is not appearing in your Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2021.

Can you share what plan you are currently on?

My office version shows M365 Apps for Enterprise. Microsoft 365 Apps comes with Microsoft365 Business Standard, Business Premium, E3 and E5

Warm Regards

Thank you for your kind response. I just discovered that since my office apps are native they will not reflect Copilot however I can continue to use them in the browser
