The 0xefff003a states that the iSNS service could not be found. Can that server reach your iSNS server?
iSCSI Initiator
I lost power and lost connection to my iscsi target. I get the following error in event viewer:
iSCSI discovery via Host Bus Adapter failed with error code 0xefff003a to Host Bus Adapter B06BDRV\L4SC&PCI_163914E4&SUBSYS_191714E4&REV_20\5&215fe35a&0&30050400_0.
Has anyone seen this problem?

The error code 0xefff003a means the iSNS server was not found or is unavailable. The device with the hardware ID B06BDRV\L4SC&PCI_163914E4 is a Broadcom NetXtreme II adapter. Please check if you can reach your iSNS server via the Broadcom adapter.Best Regards,
