I accidentally overwrote my .mdb file when using ACCESS. What should I do? Now the software cannot be opened. The latest database also shows that the database format is unrecognizable. What should I do? If someone is willing to solve it, I am willing to pay 300usd.

The critical thing to do at this point is make a backup copy before doing anything further. This way you always have an unaltered version to fall back on.

Sadly, I believe Duane is right, the data is most probably permanently gone.

You don't have backup copies you can restore? You don't have file history enabled on your PC to easily restore and earlier version of the file from.

Have you performed a Compact and repair (if NOT, do NOT do so)?

How did you overwrite your database exactly?

You've overwritten records or the entire database file?

Apparently you don’t have a backup which might have been your only chance at recovering your application. There are services that can be purchased such as Recovery Toolbox. I haven’t used any of these companies so can’t vouch for their reliability.
