I have had to wipe my computer as there were issues with the SSD, can I move a licenes to another SSD. I am building a computer with my son and have no recroded of the activation code. The SSD from the first build has completely failed. Is there a way to get the code from my account and move it to the new SSD?

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

You can use the ShowKeyPlus app on your device to view the installed product key (if your device is functioning properly).

    1. If your SSD failed, you can plug in a new SSD in your computer.
    2. Reinstall Windows and sign in with the same Microsoft account that has the digital license.
    3. If the PC did not activate automatically, go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Troubleshoot. (Run the Activation Troubleshooter).
    4. Select "I changed Hardware recently" to activate Windows on your new SSD.

If you are experiencing any issues during this operation, let me know.
