windows 11 pro key doesn't work

I have un activated windows 11 home and I have a windows 11 pro activation key but it doesn't work and I somehow am unable to upgrade

    Go to Settings > System > Activation. Click on Change product key.

    Type this generic product key VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T to upgrade to Pro edition.

    Once upgraded, you can activate the system using your Pro edition unique key.

    Download the free ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store.

    On the that app, click 'Check Edition', then enter your product key into that app.

    Please provide a screenshot of that app window and please ensure you hide your product key in the screenshot.
