Hello, I am trying to install Windows 11 on my Dell Inspiron 14 5410 as I want to use it when going abroad.  But when I go to Windows update it says This PC doesn’t currently meet the minimum system requirements. I have been asked by the system to download PC Health Check and it says that This PC meets Windows 11 requirements. I also contacted Dell Team and they suggested to contact Microsoft Team. The Dell Team confirmed that based on Microsoft’s official requirements, this system meets all the necessary criteria for Windows 11, including TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and DirectX 12 compatibility.

Hello Piotr, I am Henry and I want to share my insight about your issue .

The confirmation from both Dell and the PC Health Check app means your Dell Inspiron 14 5410 is compatible. The error in Windows Update is typically caused by one of two things:

Before installing Windows 11, make sure the device where Windows 11 is being installed meets the minimum system requirements.User's image

You need to enter your system's BIOS/UEFI to ensure Secure Boot and TPM are active.

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. As soon as it starts booting up, repeatedly press the F2 key to enter the BIOS setup. (On some Dell models, it might be F12).
    3. Enable Secure Boot:
    • Look for a "Boot" or "Boot Configuration" section.
    • Find the Secure Boot option and make sure it is set to Enabled.
    1. Enable TPM 2.0 (often called PTT on Dell systems): you can refer Enable TPM 2.0 on your PC
    2. Save and Exit: Press the F10 key to save your changes and exit the BIOS. Your computer will restart.

If Windows Update still shows the error after checking the BIOS, the most direct way to upgrade is by using Microsoft's official Installation Assistant. This tool bypasses the Windows Update check and performs the upgrade directly.

    1. Go to the official Microsoft Windows 11 Download page.
    2. Look for the "Windows 11 Installation Assistant" section at the top.
    3. Click the "Download Now" button and run the tool.

The Installation Assistant will verify your hardware compatibility one more time and then proceed to download and install Windows 11. This is an in-place upgrade, so all your files, apps, and settings will be preserved.

Hope one of these works for you. If you find this guidance helpful, you're welcome to click 'Accept Answer'—it helps others find useful solutions too.
