Open Services by running services.msc command, and ensure these services are running:

    • DCHP Client
    • Homegroup Listener
    • Homegroup Provider
    • Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service
    • Network Connections
    • Network List Service
    • Network Location Awareness
    • TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper

If issue still persists, refer other suggestions here (works with Windows 11):

    Hi,

People still run into this Error 0x80070035 thing. It shows up a lot when you are trying to get to a shared drive or something on the network, like a NAS setup. Usually, it is from network discovery not working right, or SMB settings acting up, maybe the firewall or antivirus getting in the way, or even credential issues messing things up.

So, here is a way to sort it out, step by step kind of thing.

First off, do the basic stuff. Check if the NAS or that network drive is actually on and hooked up to the same network you are using. That is pretty basic, but it trips people up sometimes.

Next, try reaching it with the IP address instead of the name. In File Explorer, just put in something like \\192.168.x.x\sharename, not the usual \\DEVICE-NAME\sharename. If that does the trick, then it is probably name resolution causing trouble, like DNS or NetBIOS not playing nice.

Then, get network discovery and sharing turned on. Go to Control Panel, hit up Network and Sharing Center, then Advanced sharing settings. For whatever profile you are on right now, switch on Network discovery. Turn on File and printer sharing too. If it applies, let Windows handle homegroup connections. After that, restart the PC. Give it another shot.

There are multiple possibilities, you'll just have to run through them all.

If it worked before on this PC what has been changed/updated?
