Is there still no functionality to rearrange items in Quick Access in the new File Explorer in Windows 11 (23H2)? We've just been upgraded and this is a significant loss of functionality for me as I used this all the time. I've seen previous posts about this issue from 2023 and wondered if any progress had been made on it? At the moment when I drag items to arrange them, the whole folder is copied to another folder in the Quick Access list instead (which isn't what I want to do) and there seems to be no space to drop them between as there was previously.

What is the point of QA/Home if we must drill through to the folder; we can drill though on the regular hierarchy?
In Windows 11, there is still currently no option to move or sort items in the Quick Access section in the right side pane File Explorer, that can only be done in the left navigation pane of File Explorer, but does not affect Quick Access the right side of File Explorer.
Hi - thanks for your answer. I have been trying to do this in the left hand navigation pane but that is where I can't rearrange the folders, just copy them, with no bar appearing to drop them in between each other as there used to be. Is there another way to do this?
Right click and empty space in the left navigation pane and enable this option - 'Show All Folders'.
Are you then able to move the location of the Quick Access folders in the left pane?
No sorry - it is enabled but I still can't drag them. The Sort option also disappears once I click on Home so it looks like there isn't a way to do this! I know other users have posted about this but I wondered if there had been any progress. Thanks for your help anyway!
In that case, it must be some change they have implemented in an update to the new version of File Explorer, it would be best to report this lack of functionality on the Feedback Hub to their Developers there.
