I created 3 columns in part of a Word for Mac doc. I want a decimal tab within each of the columns. Using the ruler, it only lets me put in decimal tabs in Column 1 and 3 but not 2.

To open the Tabs dialog, go to the Home tab, click the Paragraph dialog box launcher, and choose Tabs at the bottom. Then, select all the paragraphs that need decimal alignment throughout the three columns. Type the measurement for the first column's decimal point (such 1.5 inches) in the Tab stop position field, choose Decimal from the Alignment drop-down menu, and then click Set. Do this again for the second and third columns, using their measurements (such 3.5 inches and 5.5 inches), and clicking Set each time.
