Hey , so my old account logged me off for like security check i had it since i was like 13 maybe and i didnt remember the password or anything else, now theres just a pop up each time i want to log in somewhere for example xbox center (laptop) . it doesnt let me change account either anytime i press back or something like that it just resets and doesnt let me put another account into it aswell. put a picture aswell to look what i mean. and when i try to recover the old account it just says insuficient proof.

Does a parent have access to the account thru Microsoft Family Safety? (they can reset the password)
no , they did not put parental control onto my account.
Have you spoken to them about this?
no , because as in my memory they asked me if i want controls or not i just said no. because i only made that account for minecraft and nothing else
Please ask them, to see if they can reset the password? While they may have opened your account, they may have the ability to reset the password.
so , i asked them. they dont have any control over that account.

I understand that you are struggling trying to log in with your Xbox account. Before we proceed, I'd like to know if you are still able to log in to account.microsoft.com and account.xbox.com with your account? Please let me know. Unfortunately, forum moderators are unable to access accounts for security and privacy reasons, so if you need to reset password, you still need to access it follows the instruction in the "Forget password".
Regarding your Xbox app, first of all let try to reset it to see if it let you sign in with another account.

yeah so saddly it didnt help , i still cannot log into another account , it didnt even give me a option to. and whatever i click there its just a loop because i do not have access to the account. and no i cannot loginto microsoft with the original account there i can access it with another account atleast.
before that i just logged in with a shortcut not the password.
