Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.
Is your hard disk full? Have you checked how much RAM and CPU are being used in Task Manager during normal workload?
To make the system more responsive overall, make sure you free up temporary files on the system and clear as much space as possible on your Local Disk (C:). Then, disable any unnecessary startup programs from Task Manager and restart your computer to see if there are improvements in the system’s performance.
To free up space, you can use the Disk Cleanup tool:
- Search for Disk Cleanup in the search bar on the taskbar and press Enter.
- Select the system drive Local Disk (C:) and click OK.
- Select Temporary files and any other items you want to remove, then click OK.
You can also go to Settings > System > Storage > Storage management.
Under Storage management, Windows should automatically show you the cleanup recommendations available for your device.
If the issue happened recently, you can also run a system restore method to restore your PC earlier point in time.
Let me know if you still need more help.
