Minecraft License Error

Hello, I purchased a Minecraft PC bundle digital voucher code from a retailer and successfully redeemed it on this account. My order history page explicitly marks the transaction as 'Completed.'

However, there is a severe backend profile synchronization defect. The Xbox App shows a green 'Install' button, but the Microsoft Store, the Minecraft Launcher, and the official Minecraft website all state that I do not own the game and lock me out with a 'Buy Now' prompt. I have already completely reset my local Windows services, Gaming Services, and local store caches. The license token is completely stuck on your backend authentication servers.

Can you please manually refresh the digital entitlements on my profile, or tell me exactly why your storefront is failing to recognize a completed purchase?

    Hi @Miles Morales

Thank you for the detailed information.

If the order shows as Completed in your order history, but the Microsoft Store, Minecraft Launcher, and Minecraft.net still display Buy Now, then there may be either an account mismatch or a licensing synchronization issue.

Before assuming the entitlement is stuck on Microsoft's backend, could you please confirm the following:

➜ Is the same Microsoft account signed in to the Microsoft Store, Xbox app, Minecraft Launcher, and Minecraft.net?

➜ Does the completed Minecraft purchase appear under the same account at account.microsoft.com/orderhistory?

➜ Approximately how long ago was the voucher redeemed?

➜ Does the Xbox app show an Install button for Minecraft, or are you able to install and launch the game from there?

If all services are using the same Microsoft account and the purchase has been completed for more than 24 hours, but ownership is still not recognized across Microsoft's services, the issue may require investigation by Microsoft Store Support, as community members do not have access to licensing or entitlement data.

Please let us know the answers to the above questions and we will be happy to help narrow down the cause.
