Search SharePoint from Viva

Question

Hello,
I'm wondering whether somebody knows if there are any plans on implementing SharePoint search from inside Microsoft Viva in Teams?

SharePoint top bar is replaced with Teams top bar in Viva:

This search bar is used to search content in Teams, but not SharePoint, so it's not possible to search SharePoint from Teams.

Checked roadmap, and there was no mention about it.

Hi @Rolands Strakis ,

Per my test and knowledge, currently it is the behavior by default and Microsoft has not yet released a similar plan.

I would suggest posting a uservocie here: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/06735c62-321c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft SharePoint products. What's more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
